1. IBPS PO 2025 Notification Highlights
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the PO/MT-XV notification for 2025 with 5,208 vacancies for Probationary Officers/Management Trainees across 11 public sector banks.

5. Exam Pattern:
- Prelims: Sections include Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English – now with fewer questions but increased total marks.
- Mains: Objective + Descriptive (letter writing and essay). Reasoning & Computer Aptitude sections are merged and weighted higher.
5. IBPS PO Salary & Career Growth
- Starting Basic Pay: ₹48,480 per month.
- Gross Salary: Around ₹70,000–₹75,000/month (Including DA, HRA, CCA, Learning, Special allowances).
- In-Hand Pay: Approximately ₹65,000–₹70,000/month.
- Long-Term Growth: With promotions and increments, in-hand salary can reach ₹90,000–₹1,00,000 by the 10th year.

- Updated Exam Pattern: Fewer questions but higher total marks; descriptive writing added; combined reasoning-computer aptitude section, and higher interview weightage.
- Flexible Application: Correction window (31 July–1 August) helps aspirants rectify mistakes.
- Extended Application Deadline: Extended to 28 July for PO & SO combined drive totaling 6,215 vacancies.
