4. IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria 

  1. Nationality 
    • Must be an Indian citizen or as specified under IBPS norms. 
  2. Age Limit 
    • 20 – 30 years (as on notification date). 
    • Relaxation: OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PwD (10 years). 
  3. Educational Qualification (Post-wise) 
    • IT Officer: B.Tech/M.Tech in CS/IT/Electronics or MCA. 
    • Agriculture Officer: Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, etc.
    • Rajbhasha Adhikari: PG in Hindi with English OR PG in Sanskrit with English & Hindi.
    • Law Officer: LLB + Enrolled as Advocate with Bar Council.
    • HR Officer: Graduate + Full-time PG in HR/Personnel Management/Industrial Relations/Labour Law. 
    • Marketing Officer: Graduate + Full-time MBA/PGDBA in Marketing. 

5. IBPS SO Selection Process 

The IBPS SO selection is conducted in three stages

  1. Preliminary Exam (Objective, Online) 
  2. Mains Exam (Objective + Descriptive for Rajbhasha) 
  3. Personal Interview 

Final selection is based on the combined score of Mains + Interview
